Buck Mcphail (Coleman McPhail) was born on December 25, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Central (Oklahoma City, OK), Mcphail attended the University of Oklahoma. Mcphail made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 1 year career.
