Bub Weller (Raymond Fred Weller) was born on August 7, 1902 in Seward, Nebraska. After going to high school at Seward (NE), Weller attended the University of Nebraska. Weller made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the St. Louis All-Stars. He played for the Chicago Cardinals, Frankford Yellow Jackets, Milwaukee Badgers and St. Louis All-Stars over the course of his 6 year career.
