Bub McAtee (Michael James McAtee) was born on March , 1845 in Troy, New York. He made his Major League debut on May 8, 1871 for the Chicago White Stockings. In 1871, his rookie year, he hit .274 with 0 home runs and 10 RBI. McAtee played for the Chicago White Stockings and Troy Haymakers over the course of his 2 year career.
