Bryant Salter (Bryant J. Salter) was born on January 22, 1950 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at South Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), Salter attended the University of Pittsburgh. Salter made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers, Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1972 was Bryant Salter's best year, as he picked off 7 passes.
