Born on June 2, 1963 in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, Bryan Harvey (Bryan Stanley Harvey) played for the California Angels and Florida Marlins over the course of his 9 year career. Harvey broke into the bigs on May 16, 1987 with the California Angels, and put up a 2.13 ERA in 76 innings pitched in 1988, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Bryan Harvey's best season was 1991, when he posted a 1.60 ERA, notched 46 saves and struck out 101 batters.
