Bruce Van Dyke (Bruce Robert Van Dyke) was born on August 6, 1944 in Lancaster, California. After going to high school at Fort Osage (Independence, MO), Van Dyke attended the University of Missouri. Van Dyke made his professional debut in the NFL in 1966 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 11 year career.
