Born on September 10, 1959 in Portland, Indiana, Bruce Robbins (Bruce Duane Robbins) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 2 year career. Robbins broke into the bigs on July 28, 1979 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 6.62 ERA in 51.2 innings pitched in 1980, his rookie year.
