Bruce Ogrodowski (Ambrose Francis Ogrodowski) was born on February 17, 1912 in Hoytville, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1936 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1936, his rookie year, he hit .228 with 1 home run and 20 RBI. Ogrodowski played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.
