Bruce Nelson (Bruce Edward Nelson) was born on May 12, 1979 in Emmetsburg, Iowa. After going to high school at Emmetsburg (IA), Nelson attended the University of Iowa. Nelson made his professional debut in the NFL in 2003 with the Carolina Panthers. He played for the Carolina Panthers for his entire 1 year career.
