Bruce Clark
[edit] Biography
Bruce Clark (Bruce Clark) was born on March 31, 1958 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at New Castle (PA), Clark attended Pennsylvania State University. Clark made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his 8 year career.
Clark was the Green Bay Packers' number one pick in the 1980 draft (a pick that the Packers received from San Diego as part of the Willie Buchanon trade). Clark chose to play in the CFL, missing the 1980 and '81 NFL seasons. The New Orleans Saints traded a number one draft choice in the 1983 NFL draft in return for the Packers' rights to sign Clark for the 1982 season.
Most people believe that 1984 was Bruce Clark's best year, as he recorded 10.5 sacks.
