Bruce Aven (David Bruce Aven) was born on March 4, 1972 in Orange, Texas. He made his Major League debut on August 27, 1997 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1999, his rookie year, he hit .289 with 12 home runs and 70 RBI. Aven played for the Cleveland Indians, Florida Marlins, Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that Bruce Aven's best season was 1999, when he hit for a .289 average and knocked in 70 runs.
