Bronko Nagurski Trophy

The Bronko Nagurski Trophy has been awarded annually since 1993 to the best all-around defensive College Football player. The award is sponsored by the Charlotte Touchdown Club and the Football Writers Association of America. The award is named in honor of Bronko Nagurski, a former All-American at the University of Minnesota and NFL All-Pro player with the Chicago Bears.

Nagurski is considered by many as one of the greatest college players ever, the only man named as an All-American at two different positions in the same year (1929).
