Broncos Season Opener

And we are off to the races here in Denver. In the first 10 minutes against the Oakland Raiders, the Denver Broncos have shown that they are not having it in their house. Brandon Marshall, Champ Bailey, and Brandon Stokley (who was released by the Indy Colts at the end of last season and scored our first home field touchdown of the season) have answered the opposition. Jay Cutler has made productive throws thus far, giving me an air of optimism. I find the green dots on the back of the QB helmets a bit distracting, but obviously someone was having a hard time figuring out who was running the team on the field.
I am proud that the Broncos are representing our fallen players, Darrent Williams and Damien Nash. I hope they are pulling the puppet strings from heaven.
Back to the game: The Raiders are having a nerve racking drive and have Ronald Curry on the field. Josh McCown has spent most of the week in th ebooth with an injured hand and ankle. This is a gutsy start for him as the Bronco Defense is relentless and unforgiving. INTERCEPTION! The Second of the Game!
A nasty thunderstorm has temporarily suspended the game. I am on the edge of my seat as a Raider Hater and ready to bring the full force of the city's wrath down upon them, sending them home with the brand of defeat. This is. afterall, Bronco Country!
