Acquired:
Traded to Edmonton from Hamilton on February 13, 2008 in exchange for non-import LB Michael Botterill and import DB Chris Thompson
Traded to Hamilton from Edmonton along with DB Tay Cody and a first-round pick in the 2006 Canadian College Draft in exchange for RB Troy Davis and OL Dan Comiskey.
2006:
Played in all 18 games, recording 41 receptions for 457 yards and three touchdowns
2005:
The speedy up and coming receiver started two of four games played at slotback with Hamilton after they acquired him along with defensive Tay Cody from the Edmonton Eskimos on October 5 in exchange for Troy Davis and Dan Comiskey...also played in five games with Edmonton prior to the trade and had attended training camp with the New York Jets...in nine games played between the two teams during the regular season he had nine receptions for 96 yards and one touchdown.
2004:
Enjoyed a break-out year as a receiver recording 49 receptions for 634 yards and 1 touchdown...his best performance was 5 catches for 95 yards in Week 6 versus Winnipeg..in the CFL West Semi Final he had 4 catches for 39 yards.
2003:
Appeared in 7 games primarily as a back-up before breaking his collarbone in Ottawa (July 31/03)...recorded first CFL reception in Week 3 @ Winnipeg. Scored first CFL touchdown Week 4 @ Hamilton...was acquired from Ottawa in exchange for Edmonton's second round selection (17th overall) in the 2003 CFL Canadian College Draft.
College:
Played four seasons (1999-2002) with the University of Wyoming Cowboys...finished his four year career at Wyoming, 12th on the schools' all-time list with 108 receptions and 13th on the all-time list with 1,509 yards...had seven career touchdowns...started the last 34 consecutive games of his college career and caught at least one pass in his last 23 games...also had 15 carries for 91 yards and two touchdowns during his collegiate career.
Personal:
Born July 16th, 1980, he is one of six children of Shelly and Jim Ralph...his younger brother, Brett, who played wide receiver at both Wyoming and the University of Alberta is currently in his rookie season with the Calgary Stampeders while his older brother, Dustin, was also a Cowboy wide receiver in 1999 and 2000 before finishing out his collegiate career at Alberta...an outstanding all-around athlete, he was the provincial champion in the 100 meters for the Province of Alberta as a high school senior...also won the triple jump, and placed second in the 200 meters...in football, his Raymond High School team lost only one game his junior and senior seasons, posting a 25-1 record and capturing the province title two consecutive seasons...while Canada doesn't select All-Province teams, similar to the way All-State teams are named in the U.S., Ralph was named his league's MVP as a wide receiver and safety...also was his team's MVP on a 24-1 basketball squad...perhaps his best sport is baseball, where he was the starting center fielder on the Provincial Championship team...an outstanding student, he was on the honour roll five times...his high school football coach was Mark Beazer, while his high school basketball coach was his father, Jim.
