Born on August 19, 1973 in Seneca, South Carolina, Britt Reames (William Britt Reames) played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Montreal Expos, Oakland Athletics and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 6 year career. Reames broke into the bigs on August 20, 2000 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 5.59 ERA in 95 innings pitched in 2001, his rookie year.
