Born on February 15, 1969 in Lancaster, South Carolina, Brian Williams (Brian O'Neal Williams) played for the Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 9 year career. Williams broke into the bigs on September 16, 1991 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 3.92 ERA in 96.1 innings pitched in 1992, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Brian Williams's best season was 1992, when he posted a 3.92 ERA and struck out 54 batters.
