Brian Urlacher is Mightier than Mere Mortals

Urlacher proves she is no sissy
Urlacher proves she is no sissy

Praise the Lord! Urlacher is going to be okay! At the end of the Dolphins game, Brian Urlacher, our all world MLB, got his foot twisted in a pileup with about a minute left in the game. Bears' fans across the country held their breath as he left the field thinking shades of Mike Brown (who's gone for the season). Urlacher underwent an MRI today and broke the machine with his sheer awesomeness. Seriosuly thought, he had an MRI, and it turns out it's just a sprained left big toe.

Officially Urlacher is questionable for the upcoming showdown with Giants, but I have a strong feeling he won't miss the game. It's a huge matchup, and reportedly, Urlacher was seen walking into a meeting without a limp.

My confidence in the Bears, has just been boosted!

Jeeves, do you write the Chi-Sox Blog? I'm just wondering, because I don't see a lot of work original to Armchair coming from your camp. That's not being critical... I'm just wondering. I like the articles you post here.

Yah, I'm the main writer at Chi-Sox Blog. I have a couple guys that help me out (especially during the season if I miss a game) but all the stuff I post here is my own work. But now I'm a little worried...is the standard at ArmChair to post articles that are exclusive to the site? I just assumed it was a way to further spread your writings regardless of whether it's original to this sit or if it's based from another site.

No man... I didn't mean to imply that... I was going to ask why you patronize the chisoxblog so much. Now I know it's because you write it. If you were just taking articles from someone else's site, that would be bogus...
I've bookmarked the Sox blog, so I'll be keeping up in the offseason...

Gotcha...yah that would be pretty crappy if I did that. And feel free to comment anything on the site. It's kinda quiet in the off-season and all, but the discussion pick up during the season especially during games.

Go for the best of both worlds... post fresh stuff here to stretch your writing skills and expand into items outside of your normal realm (plus you keep your regulars on their toes, AND promote the other fine contributors here!!!) and sprinkle in the good stuff from your personal site. We readers will enjoy all of it since it's good.

Most of all, as I advise ANY writer, stay true to yourself!

Sorry, but I HAD to add the backhanded compliment/photo (I couldn't resist)

Plus, it's a toe... if he's so tough and great, he'll play through a toe injury.

I think Urlaher's calf may be bigger than Paris' whole body.

Here's an idea: tell Grossman that if he does something stupid again with the ball, he can't wear the red jersey in practice and all the linemen will "forget" to block Urlacher...

That would be a great idea. Considering how fragile he's been in years past, he'll have to take that threat very, very seriously
