[edit] Biography

Born on November 21, 1975 in Montgomery, Alabama, Brian Meadows (Matthew Brian Meadows) played for the Florida Marlins, San Diego Padres, Kansas City Royals, Pittsburgh Pirates and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the course of his 9 year career. Meadows broke into the bigs on April 4, 1998 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 5.21 ERA in 174.1 innings pitched in 1998, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Brian Meadows's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2000, when he won 13 games and struck out 79 batters. However, others believe that it was 1998, when he won 11 games and struck out 88 batters.
