Brian McRae (Brian Wesley McRae) was born on August 27, 1967 in Bradenton, Florida. He made his Major League debut on August 7, 1990 for the Kansas City Royals. In 1990, his rookie year, he hit .286 with 2 home runs and 23 RBI. McRae played for the Kansas City Royals, Chicago Cubs, New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays and Colorado Rockies over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Brian McRae's best season was 1996, when he slugged 17 home runs, stole 37 bases, hit for a .276 average and knocked in 66 runs.
