Born on November 29, 1959 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, Brian Holton (Brian John Holton) played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 6 year career. Holton broke into the bigs on September 9, 1985 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and put up a 3.89 ERA in 83.1 innings pitched in 1987, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Brian Holton's best season was 1988, when he posted a 1.70 ERA.
