Brian Harper (Brian David Harper) was born on October 16, 1959 in Los Angeles, California. He made his Major League debut on September 29, 1979 for the California Angels. In 1983, his rookie year, he hit .221 with 7 home runs and 20 RBI. Harper played for the California Angels, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Tigers, Oakland Athletics, Minnesota Twins and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 16 year career.

Most people believe that Brian Harper's best season was 1993, when he hit for a .304 average and knocked in 73 runs.
