Brian Giles (Brian Jeffrey Giles) was born on April 27, 1960 in Manhattan, Kansas. He made his Major League debut on September 12, 1981 for the New York Mets. In 1982, his rookie year, he hit .210 with 3 home runs and 10 RBI. Giles played for the New York Mets, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 6 year career.
