Brian Dowling (Brian John Dowling) was born on April 1, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH), Dowling attended Yale University. Dowling made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1972 was Brian Dowling's best year.
