Brian Dayett (Brian Kelly Dayett) was born on January 22, 1957 in New London, Connecticut. He made his Major League debut on September 11, 1983 for the New York Yankees. In 1987, his rookie year, he hit .277 with 5 home runs and 25 RBI. Dayett played for the New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that Brian Dayett's best season was 1987, when he hit for a .277 average.
