[edit] BiographyAcquired Signed as a free agent by Calgary on March 10, 2004. Played in all 18 regular season games with Calgary including the Western Semi-Final...finished the season with eight knockdowns (first on the team), five tackles for a loss (tied for second on team), two interceptions (tied for third on team), 66 defensive tackles (fourth on team), five quarterback sacks (tied for fourth on team)...he was one of the most consistent players on the field for the Stampeders throughout the season...on September 17th at Hamilton, Clark recorded the longest interception of the season returning it 92 yards for a touchdown...less than a month later he would record his second of the season against his former team the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Played in all 18 regular season games with Calgary...recorded 57 defensive tackles (fourth on the team), seven knockdowns (tied for 2nd on the team), five special team tackles, five tackles for a loss, four quarterback sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble...played very consistent throughout the season…ran back one interception for a touchdown (67 yards) vs B.C. on October 22. With Winnipeg, played in all 18 regular season games and the West Division Semi-Final vs the Saskatchewan Roughriders…during the regular season Clark recorded seven interceptions for 52 yards, five more than any other teammate...he also recorded 40 defensive tackles, 15 special team tackles, four tackles for a loss, three pass knockdowns and two sacks...in the Western Division Semi-Final vs the Roughriders, Clark recorded three defensive tackles and one special team tackle...was named to the 2003 Intergold CFLPA All-Star Team which is voted upon by the players, coaches and fans of the CFL. With Winnipeg, Clark played in all 18 regular-season games as well as the 2002 Western Division Semi-final and the 2002 Western Division Final...Clark was at or near the top of every Blue Bombers defensive category in 2002...He led the club in tackles for a loss with six for 23 yards lost and in pass knockdowns with seven...He was 2nd on the club in defensive tackles (54), special teams tackles (18) and fumble recoveries (2)...He also added three quarterback sacks, one forced fumble and one interception return for 26 yards...CJOB named Clark the winner of its Defensive Player of the Game Award more times than any other player for the second straight year...winning it eight times...Clark reached several personal milestones in 2002 including his 50th CFL game (Winnipeg vs. Hamilton, July 5, 2002) and his 50th Blue Bomber game (Winnipeg @ Calgary, Oct. 18, 2002). Voted to the CFLPA’s East Division All-Star Team by the players…was named CJOB Defensive Player of the Game award seven times...Clark recorded 52 defensive tackles (3rd on Winnipeg), four tackles for a loss, two quarterback sacks, two pass knockdowns, one interception and one fumble return...Clark placed 1st on the Blue Bombers and 3rd in the CFL in special teams tackles with 24. A hard worker, with a fine understanding of the CFL game, Clark joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as a free agent in the 2000 season. In 1999, he left Montreal to try his luck with the San Diego Chargers of the NFL...The Chargers signed Clark as an option year exemption, only to release him after their training camp. Clark spent two years in the CFL as a member of the Montreal Alouettes in 1997 and 1998...He played a total of 14 games for Montreal during that period, amassing 42 defensive tackles and four special teams tackles. College Played for Hofstra in college, Clark was a four-year starter and a two-time NCAA 1-AA All-American in 1994 and 1995...He had 53 tackles and nine interceptions in his junior year and 76 tackles and three interceptions in his senior season...He was named to the East Coast Athletic Conference All–Star Team in 1995.
