Brian Carpenter (Brian Milton Carpenter) was born on November 27, 1960 in Flint, Michigan. After going to high school at Southwestern (Flint, MI), Carpenter attended the University of Michigan. Carpenter made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the New York Giants. He played for the Washington Redskins and New York Giants over the course of his 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1983 was Brian Carpenter's best year.
