Brian Buchanan (Brian James Buchanan) was born on July 21, 1973 in Miami, Florida. He made his Major League debut on May 19, 2000 for the Minnesota Twins. In 2001, his rookie year, he hit .274 with 10 home runs and 32 RBI. Buchanan played for the Minnesota Twins, San Diego Padres and New York Mets over the course of his 5 year career.
