Born on August 8, 1963 in Ozona, Texas, Brett Gideon (Byron Brett Gideon) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Montreal Expos over the course of his 3 year career. Gideon broke into the bigs on July 5, 1987 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
