Bret Barberie (Bret Edward Barberie) was born on August 16, 1967 in Long Beach, California. He made his Major League debut on June 16, 1991 for the Montreal Expos. In 1991, his rookie year, he hit .353 with 2 home runs and 18 RBI. Barberie played for the Montreal Expos, Florida Marlins, Baltimore Orioles and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Bret Barberie's best season was 1994, when he hit for a .301 average.
