Brent Strom

Born on October 14, 1948 in San Diego, California, Brent Strom (Brent Terry Strom) played for the New York Mets, Cleveland Indians and San Diego Padres over the course of his 5 year career. Strom broke into the bigs on July 31, 1972 with the New York Mets, and put up a 4.61 ERA in 123 innings pitched in 1973, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Brent Strom's best season was 1976, when he posted a 3.29 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 103 batters.
