Brendan Mccarthy (Brendan B. McCarthy) was born on August 6, 1945 in Boston, Massachusetts. After going to high school at DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD), Mccarthy attended Boston College. Mccarthy made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1968 was Brendan Mccarthy's best year.
