Breaking News: Week 11 Flex Game Announced

by SSreporters

This is the worst news possible for a Seattle fan. The Seahawks/Bears week 11 game has been moved back to a 1:15 FOX game. That's okay, but what would be the replacement game?

Chiefs/Colts, maybe.

Chargers/Jaguars, could be.

Giants/Lions- good chance

New England @ Buffalo!!

We all know the Bills are likely going to be a .500 team 2 weeks from now. That is the weirdest pick I've seen for the flex scheduling. The only thing I see in this is that New England's quest for 16-0 is trying to garner as much TV time as possible.

But what about Seattle? Other than the Redskins/Cowboys, which game would be big enough to suit a national audience?

Please do not be Joe Buck, please do not be Joe Buck.

Your turn, was this the best game to move to an 8:15 start?

Buffalo is not that bad. They're in second place in the AFC and a potential Wild Card contender. Don't count them out just yet.

They've beaten Cincy (2-6), Jets twice (1-8), and the Ravens (likely 4-4 after tonight). Sounds unimpressive. Plus, the Bills got their asses chewed up 38-14 the first time.

rofl, wait a second, a SEAHAWKS fan is going to talk about the teams Buffalo beat to get to 4-4? Of course, let's overlook the two one point losses to Denver and Dallas, where this team could be 6-2. But I digress.

Let's look at the "powerhouses" that the Seahawks have defeated:

Tampa Bay (5-4), the same Cincinnati team (2-6), except Buffalo beat the Bungles by 12, the Hawks edged by on a FG...San Francisco (2-6), a team that has dropped six in a row, and the Rams (0-8). Yep, those are some real contenders. Couple that with the Bears struggles, and why in the hell would you keep that game in primetime?

Chiefs/Colts? Come on. Larry Johnson is hurt, and without him, the Chiefs are a borefest.

Giants/Lions? Most NFL fans couldn't name five Lions if you spotted them Roy Williams, Calvin Johnson, Jon Kitna and Mike Furrey.

Chargers/Jaguars? We just watched San Diego's vaunted defense get carved up like Thanksgiving turkey by the "potent" Minnesota offense. The Jaguars are starting Quinn Gray at QB and have no WRs to speak of.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Patriots/Eagles game on the 25th changes start times. Right now it is scheduled to be the Sunday night game, but that will probably change.

Likely because the Eagles are going to get a beating?

I wouldn't be surprised if they televised every New England game in this flex spot as long as they are undefeated. Every week they win, every week the ratings go higher. People want to see what happens. They can make a ton of money off showing every game. I am no Giants fan, but would love for them to take out the Pats week 17 in primetime!

I think Giants/Lions would be a pretty good game for flex scheduling
