British boxer Ricky Hatton remained unbeaten by knocking out Jose Luis Castillo in round 4 to retain the (insert 3 random letters here) junior welterweight (140 lbs) crown. Hatton dominated throughout, drilling Castillo with body shots, including the one that finished him off, and combinations to the head. Castillo had a point deducted for the collection of low blows he picked up. Jose dropped to 55-8, with 47 KO's, while Hatton improved to 43-0, with 31 KO's.
Now the new question is, "What is next for Ricky Hatton?". There's nothing major in the 140 lbs division, and many critics want him to prove himself by going back up to welterweight (147 lbs), with the likes of Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, and Paul Williams. I don't think he'll fight at welterweight in his next fight, but I wouldn't be surprised if he does so. If he wants to earn respect and increase his popularity in America, the 147 lbs division is the place to go.
Great job by Hatton, but a poor performance by Castillo.
Note: HBO commentator Emanuel Steward, the phrase "more faster" is grammatically incorrect. So learn from that mistake.
