Via ESPN, there has been a report that Bills TE Kevin Everett is capable of walking to "some extent". Here is the report from ESPN:
Injured Bills player Kevin Everett has been able to walk to some extent as part of his rehabilitation after suffering a severe spinal cord injury during the team's season opener, sources tell WIVB-TV in Buffalo.
Doctors in Houston, where Everett's rehab has been ongoing since mid-September, are optimistic that once Everett completes his rehab he will regain his ability to walk independently, the station reports.

I for one, think this is one of the stories of the year. It is great to see a player go from "you may die", to "you can walk". We continue to hope that Mr. Everett can fully recover from this injury, and wish him the best.
Again, this is a breaking news story, and more will be added on as time progresses.
Update: FOX Sports reported that Everett is capable of moving a wheelchair with his feet.
