Brant Alyea (Garrabrant Ryerson Alyea) was born on December 8, 1940 in Passaic, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on September 11, 1965 for the Washington Senators. In 1968, his rookie year, he hit .267 with 6 home runs and 23 RBI. Alyea played for the Washington Senators, Minnesota Twins, St. Louis Cardinals and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Brant Alyea's best season was 1970, when he slugged 16 home runs, hit for a .291 average and knocked in 61 runs.
