Born on January 31, 1982 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Brad Thompson (Bradley Joseph Thompson) played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 2 year career. Thompson broke into the bigs on May 8, 2005 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 2.95 ERA in 55 innings pitched in 2005, his rookie year.

Plus sinker that runs from 89-91 that causes an awful lot of groundballs and consequently, double plays. An average slider that keeps hitters off of his sinker. Throws strikes any time he comes into the game.
