Brad Oates (Robert Brad Oates) was born on September 30, 1953 in Mesa, Arizona. After going to high school at Albany (GA), Oates attended Brigham Young University and Duke University. Oates made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1976 was Brad Oates's best year.
