Boston RFC
[edit] The Founding
Originally founded in 1961, the Boston Rugby Football Club honors an over 40 year tradition of playing quality rugby in New England and nationally. The BRFC is proud of its past achievements and continually strives to maintain its preeminent status in the 1,443-member USA Rugby Football Union.
[edit] A Rebirth
In 1996, the coming together of two rugby forces in New England heralded the birth of a new rugby powerhouse in Boston. The Beacon Hill Rugby Club, formed in 1968 by several former BRFC players, and itself recognized on a national level, rejoined the BRFC to create today's strengthened club.
[edit] The Future
The focus of the Boston Rugby Football Club will be to achieve success in the National Club Championship. With the participation in the US Rugby Super League, a more elite dimension has been added to this amateur game. As a result, success in the Super League is also one of BRFC's priorities.
