Bookie Bolin (Treva Gene Bolin) was born on June 17, 1940 in Hamilton, Alabama. After going to high school at Okolona (MS), Bolin attended the University of Mississippi. Bolin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Bookie Bolin's best year.
