Boobie Clark (Charles L. Clark) was born on November 8, 1950 in Jacksonville, Florida. After going to high school at New Stanton (Jacksonville, FL), Clark attended Bethune-Cookman College. Clark made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Oilers over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1973 was Boobie Clark's best year, as he ran for 988 yards, ran in 8 TDs and hauled in 45 receptions.
