Bonds homers & gets ejected

During the San Francisco Giants' 5-2 loss to the Colorado Rockies last night, Giants LF Barry Bonds hit his 723rd home run in the bottom of the 7th. Then, in the ninth inning, he argued with umpire Ron Kulpa about a strike call, and was ejected. Bonds started yelling at the umpire, then went over to his own dugout.
San Francisco fans didn't take well to this, and started chanting his name and tossing garbage on the field; the Rockies fled to their own dugout. Apparently there was an eleven-minute delay of game while security cleaned up the mess.
The 53-55 Rockies are in second to last place in the NL West, and the 52-57 Giants are in last, following the results of the game. Still, the two teams are in contention: Colorado is just 2.5 GB division leader San Diego, and San Francisco is four games back.

This has been remembering the old Kenny Mayne before he turned into an ESPN sideshow with CPCP. Thanks for watching.
