In that picture, the image of Bonds in the Giants uniform and the image of him in the Pirates uniform, those images are to scale. That's how much Barry has actually grown since his days in Pittsburgh.

Steroids or not, he still is a damn good baseball player, 755 home runs takes some great talent. Yes the record is tainted but Barry's ability to hit home runs is unreal considering the lack of pitches (strikes) he actually sees in an at bat.

Thank goodness this is almost over with so I can go back to ignoring Bonds, hoping he will just go away.

No way this record should stand. Hank Aaron did it without steroids. Bonds and anyone else proven to have taken steriods should not be allowed to enter the record books, and should join Pete Rose in the category of inelligible to join the major league baseball hall of fame.

Big deal.......anything that bonds does or did since the middle 90's should have a * by it to show this was done under the influence of steriods and performance helping drugs. STEROIDS is the key not matter how he explains it all the signs point to the use of some kind of drug to help him gain weight and strength. Pictures and stats don't necessary lie especially when you gain after 35 the size he as attained. Steroids don't hit the ball but they do make it go further and at an older age. It is a very sorry state in MLB that allows what has been happening for over 15 years and there doesn't seem to be any end to it in the near future.

If anyone believes that Bonds has never taken steroids I have some prime coastal land for you cheap. Steroids leave a telltale sign and Bonds has all the signs. You can not gain the weight and size or recover as quickly after 35 years old without the use of some kind of drug. That is a medically proven fact. Look at McGuire now that he is off the stuff and he looks old and thin but look at him in 97 and 98 and he is huge. Same goes for Bonds after he came to the Giants and started to take the stuff sometime in most likely 96 or 97..

My grandfather has said it all. Bonds is a liar, a cheat and without drugs wouldn't have come close to any of the records he is attaining except maybe the strikeout record. They should have an award for Drugs taken to compete and call it the ANTIS award antibodic steroids that I didn't take or knew I took.
