Bobby Wood (Robert Harry Wood) was born on January 14, 1916 in McComb, Mississippi. After going to high school at Batesville (MS), Wood attended the University of Alabama. Wood made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 1 year career.
