Born on April 14, 1956 in Sandusky, Ohio, Bobby Sprowl (Robert John Sprowl) played for the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros over the course of his 4 year career. Sprowl broke into the bigs on September 5, 1978 with the Boston Red Sox.
