Bobby Ply (Robert Vernon Ply) was born on August 13, 1940 in Mission, Texas. After going to high school at Mission (TX), Ply attended Baylor University. Ply made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Dallas Texans. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Texans over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1962 was Bobby Ply's best year, as he picked off 7 passes.
