Bobby Messenger (Charles Walter Messenger) was born on March 19, 1884 in Bangor, Maine. He made his Major League debut on August 30, 1909 for the Chicago White Sox. Messenger played for the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 4 year career.
