Bobby Malkmus (Robert Edward Malkmus) was born on July 4, 1931 in Newark, New Jersey. He made his Major League debut on June 1, 1957 for the Milwaukee Braves. In 1960, his rookie year, he hit .211 with 1 home run and 12 RBI. Malkmus played for the Milwaukee Braves, Washington Senators and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 5 year career.
