Born on April 11, 1972 in Orange, New Jersey, Bobby Jones (Robert Mitchell Jones) played for the Colorado Rockies, New York Mets, San Diego Padres and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 6 year career. Jones broke into the bigs on May 18, 1997 with the Colorado Rockies, and put up a 5.22 ERA in 141.1 innings pitched in 1998, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Bobby Jones's best season was 1998, when he struck out 109 batters.
