Born on March 3, 1934 in Rowes Run, Pennsylvania, Bobby Locke (Lawrence Donald Locke) played for the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds and California Angels over the course of his 9 year career. Locke broke into the bigs on June 18, 1959 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 3.13 ERA in 77.2 innings pitched in 1959, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Bobby Locke's best season was 1960, when he posted a 3.37 ERA and struck out 53 batters.
