Bobby Kelly (Bob L. Kelly) was born on August 18, 1940 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. After going to high school at Carlsbad (NM), Kelly attended New Mexico State University. Kelly made his professional debut in the AFL in 1961 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers, Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his 6 year career.
